    Mental Health Social Worker / Approved Mental Health Professional

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated mental health social worker or approved mental health professional to work in London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker / approved mental health professional job is £33 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Social Worker / Approved mental health professional duties include:
    - Undertaking holistic assessments of need; formulate care plans through multidisciplinary CPA planning process; ensure that appropriate care is delivered; regularly review the care plan, and adjust services where appropriate.
    - Utilising the recovery approach and promote choice and control encouraging service-users to engage with their recovery, promote a healthy lifestyle and relapse prevention.
    - Carrying out risk assessments and demonstrate risk management within the context of CPA ensuring that plans are implemented and regularly reviewed.

    Requirements of the social worker / approved mental health professional:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
