    MASH Officer

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time as a MASH officer based in Luton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The starting pay rate for this locum MASH officer job is £32 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the MASH officer:
    - Managing a complex caseload of initial contacts requiring a high level of skill relevant to the needs of the most vulnerable / at risk children and families
    - Taking ownership of enquiries and provide feedback to referrers on progress of referrals
    - Receiving and handle all initial Children's Social Care contacts and queries entering the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) via telephone and written methods

    Requirements of the MASH officer:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - MASH or Referral and Assessment experience required
