Are you passionate about developing your social work career?

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated managing practitioner to work full time in an early help and family support team in Herefordshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum managing practitioner job is £35 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

This key role will work with the Children's Social Work managers to support the operational management of daily duties including case management oversight and to chair meetings as designated.
- Being available to offer advice and guidance and to support in the training and development of the team and support the manager to assist in the oversight of team performance
- Supervise social work staff
- Deputise for Children's Social work Manager

Requirements of the managing practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children services
- 2+ years in a similar role
- Must be a car driver
