Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Lead Social Worker to work full time for a private company within Social Work Adults Mental Health Inpatient Team based in Burgess Hill. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £38 to £40 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services.

Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
- The post holder will retain a personal caseload and be directly responsible for providing these patients with the full social work service.
- The post holder will attend relevant clinical team meetings, S117 and assessment meetings in connection with their own caseload.
- They will, where appropriate, participate in clinical governance and other groups with the purpose of contributing to the development of clinical policies.
- They will attend and prepare reports for the MHRTs and MHA Managers Reviews where necessary, in liaison with the Community Social Services Departments.
