    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Southampton for an Individual Worker. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive package of £18,000-24,000 per annum.

    Individual Worker
    The role of the Individual Worker with TLC is to support the young person's progress in the TLC Programmes and foster placement through working with them in the community, in leisure activities or at school.


    Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Working closely with the Supervising Social Worker to supervise and support the carers and foster placement
    - Undertake direct work with the child as directed by the clinical team such as targeted skills coaching with behavioural issues, promoting hobby, addressing self-harmful behaviour.
    - To attend clinical team meetings as required.
    - Promote people's equality, diversity, rights and responsibilities
    - Post Holder will be expected to ensure that Health and Safety is observed in the course of employment
    - Support the work of other members of the TLC clinical team
    - To undertake practical tasks relating to the support of the placements
    - Work flexible hours including non-office hours in order to meet the needs of supporting young people socially outside of school hours

    Requirements of the Individual Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
