Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer Manager to work in Newham on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum independent reviewing officer manager job is £400 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the independent reviewing officer manager:
- Ensure that initiation and consultation documents for all statutory reviews are administered within time-scales and according to the customer's right to confidentiality
- Identify and follow-up with social work teams those looked after children whose statutory review of arrangements are outstanding
- Identify, track, maintain, monitor and report on the status of reviews, placement and social work allocation of all looked after children ensuring that this information is recorded accurately on the team's database and child/young person's life
- Assist in the monitoring and implementation of legislative change to the children's planning and review process or related activities

Requirements of the independent reviewing officer manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
