Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Independent Reviewing Officer to work full-time based in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The Salary for this Permanent Independent Reviewing Officer £43,622 - £54,574 per annum

About the job:
- You will be a highly skilled children's social work practitioner with at least 5 years' experience including experience in supervising and managing social workers who work with children and young people, We are a service committed to high standards of practice, and in promoting the participation of children and young people in the decision making around their care planning and lives, so you will value strongly the participation of children and young people in their care planning, with an ability to chair creatively complex meetings, and command professional respect amongst colleagues, partners, and service users.

Requirements of the Independent Reviewing Officer:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- 5 years' experience in a similar post
- The candidate must be prepared to travel as some of our children are placed outside the Local authority.
