Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated independent reviewing officer to work full time-based in Norwich. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum independent reviewing officer job is £38 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the independent reviewing officer:
- Chair child protection conferences and use expertise to ensure the protection of children and young people; and chair looked after children reviews and use expertise to ensure care planning for all children and young people looked after
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of quality standards in conferences and reviews, including promotion of user involvement and the involvement of all relevant agencies, and ensuring equal opportunities

Requirements of the independent reviewing officer:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
