Independent Reviewing Officer

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated independent reviewing officer to work full time based in Suffolk. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum independent reviewing officer job is £22.07 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the independent reviewing officer:
- To carry out audits, surveys and research initiatives to support the quality assurance remit of the service.
- To develop quality assure and apply policies and procedures about Looked after Children and Child Protection in conjunction with other senior managers
- To input and maintain records of child protection conferences and LAC reviews and other contacts relating to children on their electronic case records

Requirements of the independent reviewing officer:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
