Independent Reviewing Officer, Child Protection Officer

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated independent reviewing officer child protection officer to work full time based in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum independent reviewing officer job is £28.01 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the independent reviewing officer:
- To ensure information technology is used to promote good practice standards and increase the efficiency of services
- To ensure that all meetings are chaired and conducted to a high standard and conform to relevant procedures, policies and regulations and guidance.
- To identify deficits in social work practice and to raise and challenge those deficits with social workers and social work line managers as appropriate

Requirements of the independent reviewing officer:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
