Sanctuary Social Care has a job vacancy available for a technical project manager to provide interoperability to Health & Social Care systems across a range of localities and to work full-time in East Sussex.

The pay rate for this job is £400 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

This role undertakes the management and co-ordination of specific projects or specific tasks relating to the development and implementation of projects to meet the aspirations of the County Council. This role reports into the Senior Project Manager within the relevant service area. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, strong project management ability, good communication skills, a flexible approach to working and a willingness to go the extra mile are critical to the success of this role.

Duties:
- Maintain expert level awareness of current and emerging technologies and best practice within the ICT industry to lead on delivery of an expert level ICT service providing professional support, information, guidance and advice to County Council managers and County Councillors and officers as appropriate
- Lead programmes of work in support of the core objectives of the team utilising necessary resource and expertise to ensure delivery in an efficient and effective manner.
- Make decisions to ensure the achievement of departmental, service and personal performance targets including agreed key performance indicators
- Resolve complex ICT issues, problems and service delivery issues in an appropriate and timely manner working flexibly, or outside of normal core hours as required, to meet service demands in accordance with County Council policies and procedures.
- Continuously monitor and review the effectiveness of ICT services, system, workloads and processes ensuring best value for stakeholders and customers, implementing improvements as agreed.
- Perform such other tasks as may reasonably be required by the line manager or service manager
