    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Horsham for a Group Manager to work within a Family and Friends Team.

    As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive package of £49,391 - £52,310 per annum.

    Responsibilities:
    - As Group Manager, you will ensure that support needs assessments and plans to support families are high quality, realistic and achievable. It's a role that covers a broad range of activities across children's social care and gives you the opportunity to take a leading role for policy and practice development in the service.
    - To help you succeed, you'll be managing an experienced and enthusiastic team of social workers. You will also be aided by the Fostering and Adoption Service's very supportive management team.
    - You'll need a good understanding of developmental trauma, management experience, and to have worked with a frontline child protection team and within the court arena. You should also have excellent risk and decision-making skills regarding the long-term outcomes for children.

    Requirements for the Practice Manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
