Sanctuary Social Care has a locum vacancy for an Experience Practitioner to work full-time within a care leavers team based in Southwark.

The pay rate for this role is £24.76 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

This role has a specialist focus on working with care leavers who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or are in 'other accommodation', which has been deemed by the Local Authority to be unsuitable .
- To work with colleagues to deliver, facilitate and promote intensive multi agency interventions where specialist professional housing / homelessness knowledge and expertise has been identified as essential to improving outcomes for care leavers (both in and out of Borough).
- To use your expertise to build capacity across the service through co-working, facilitating learning and championing practices that improve outcomes and demonstrate impact (including housing/accommodation) for care leavers.
- Where care leavers are hard to engage, to adopt a resilient and assertive outreach approach while also fulfilling statutory requirements relating to the Personal Advisor role for a number of care leavers.

Requirements:
- You must have Significant knowledge of homelessness and welfare legislation and interagency working procedures/practice
