Sanctuary Social Care are looking for a hard working, motivated deputy team manager to work in a permanent role, within a MASH team based in Luton.

As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £38,052 - £40,858 per annum.

Responsibilities of the deputy team manager:
- Enable MASH Officers to progress and respond to enquiries and contacts from a variety of sources quickly and efficiently, providing high quality advice, guidance, prompt and professionals decisions.
- Lead MASH Officers to ensure that they act as a filter to inappropriate contacts, provide appropriate guidance and signpost to a more suitable resource where social care threshold is not met, and that contacts which are not accepted by Children's social care are discussed with the relevant support services to identify the best resource and according to thresholds.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub along with the MASH and Single Point Of Contact Managers, including liaising with other teams within and outside of the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub ensuring that their needs are met and keeping up to date with developments and organisational changes.

Requirements of the deputy team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience within children's services
