Deputy Team Manager, Children with Disabilities

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated duty team manager to work full time within a children with disabilities team based in Merton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum deputy team manager job is £36 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the deputy team manager:
- To provide support Practice learning for Social Work students, and to supervise/assess Newly Qualified Social Workers as part of their ASYE
- To take the lead in initiating, developing and sustaining internal and external working relationships with other professionals, partner organisations, and external agencies
- To recognise and seek ways to promote well-being at work for team and colleagues
- To participate in development of strategy/services/policies for specialist field: initiate and undertake research in own field

Requirements of the deputy team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
