    Deputy Team Manager, Child Protection

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated deputy team manager to work full time within a child protection team based in Kingston Upon Thames. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum deputy team manager job is £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Deputy team manager duties include:
    - Assisting the Team Manager in managing the workload, performance and development of the team to ensure a high standard of service delivery
    - Ensuring that work in the Child Protection Team is allocated and undertaken consistently in line with departmental policy, procedures, eligibility criteria and time scale
    - Ensuring designated staff receive supervision and appraisal in accordance with the Supervision Code of Practise and Staff Appraisal guidelines.
    - Ensuring all legislation and local council policies regarding Health and Safety are adhered to

    Requirements of the deputy team manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
