    Consultant Social Worker, Children's Assessment Team

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated consultant social worker to work within a children's assessment team based in Hemel Hempstead. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum consultant social worker job is £34 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - To have supervisory responsibility for up to two professional assistants/support services staff or other areas of specified responsibility as outlined above
    - To work evenings, weekends and occasional public holidays, in order to meet service requirements in respect of service user needs.

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
