Consultant Social Worker, Children and Families

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated consultant social worker to work full time within a children and families team based in Hull. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum consultant social worker job is £24.80 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Consultant Social Worker duties include:
- Providing professional support and advice, continuous professional development to other team members, as well as handling a reduced caseload to allow for mentoring and professional support.
- Ensuring that children, young people, their families and other carers are given advice/information on how to complain/make representation about the service received

Requirements of the consultant social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience with children's services
