As a community social worker practice lead you will be working in Southend-On-Sea. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive package of £35,444 - £41,967 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has been presented to join the Service Transformation Team at Southend on Sea Borough Council and work in partnership in promoting the Adult Social Care Transformation internally and externally. The role will require communicating the vision for an asset-based approach health and social care integration, and developing community resilience.

Responsibilities of the community social worker:
- To collaborate with residents, organisations, service providers and partners identifying need, shaping services that address priorities which enable community led provision and initiatives to take place
- Focusing on individual abilities and community assets, rather than an approach that overly focuses on deficits and services

Requirements of the community social worker:
- Must have 2 years post qualifying experience
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
