Child Protection Conference Chair

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated child protection chair to work full time in Bath. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum child protection chair job is £23.84 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the child protection chair:
- Acting as a chair for child protection conferences
- Ensuring the development of high quality practice for child protection and safeguarding that meets nation and locally set performance targets.
- Monitoring the quality of practice for child protection by way of scrutinising child protection plans, and to challenge practice which does not meet required local and national standards.

Requirements of the child protection chair:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must have experience chairing child protection conferences and LADO strategy meetings
