    Best Interest Assessor

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated best interest assessor to work in Southwark on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum best interest assessor job is £23.23 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3 month contract.

    Best interest assessor duties include:
    - To function as a specialist professional resource on MCA, providing advice and support to colleagues, including mental health, learning disability, safeguarding adults, transitions and older people.
    - To attend meetings about individual customers as required and contribute to multi agency arrangements to assess, analyse and manage risk e.g. Safeguarding meetings

    Requirements of the best interest assessor:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
