    Description

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a dedicated band 7 CAMHS practitioner for a locum contract in Haringey.

    The starting pay rate for this locum CAMHS practitioner job is £28.74 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    The post holder will provide CAMHS generic and specialist assessments, be rostered to triage referrals and cover duty and provide both generic and specialist interventions to children and young people referred to Haringey CAMHS. The post holder will also work closely with CAMHS stakeholders to offer advice and consultation on clients' emotional and mental health difficulties, work autonomously within their professional guidelines within the framework of an MDT setting

    - To formulate and implement plans for treatment and/or management of a client's mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the client's problems, and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy, across the full range of care settings.
    - To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family or group.
    - To exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients whose problems are managed by NICE and professional based standard care plans.

    Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:
    - Valid NMC/HCPC registration
    - Must have recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role
    - Degree relevant to a professional qualification in Psychology, Family Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, Psychotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
    - Experience of work in a multidisciplinary team, multi-agency contexts.
