    Are you interesting in developing your Social Work career?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Social Worker to work based in Salford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    About the job:
    - Clients worked with in the majority of cases will be older people but could be any adult over 18 who is a Salford Resident
    - As above this will involve carrying out assessments of need in accordance with the Care Act 2014 eligibility criteria - all docs are completed on our carefirst system there will also be ward based MDT meetings, discharge planning meetings and best interest meetings.
    - Adult safeguarding investigations as required
    - Support/Care planning based on assessment outcomes
    - Will be based at SRFT and assessments carried out on wards mainly, may need to review in community if 24 hour care is the outcome but otherwise the case passes to community for review if new care package is the outcome or a restart of existing care package at the point of discharge from hospital

    Requirements of the Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
    - Current HCPC registration.
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services.
