Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated assistant team manager to fill a permanent role within a safeguarding and support team based in Hounslow. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The salary for this role is £41,847 - £46,578 per annum

Key Purpose of Job:
- To ensure good outcomes for children and young people in need or at risk through the delivery of timely, high-quality social work services.
- To provide effective day to day management and support to Social Workers, Child in Need Workers and Personal Advisors including the provision of reflective supervision, direction, guidance and decision making in complex cases.
- To ensure the highest standards of social work practice are provided to children and young people, managing performance via Hounslow policies and procedures.
- To be a visible member of the Management Team and to contribute to the strategic policy and procedural developments within their Team, Service and the Specialist Services Division.
- To support the Team Manager in ensuring the highest professional standards of practice are evidenced through rigorous quality assurance processes in line with statutory guidelines.
- Responsible for the day to day management of up to six Social Workers, Child in Need Workers or Personal Advisors.
- To ensure services are provided within set budgets and provide value for money.

- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
