    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Team Manager to work within a Safeguarding and Assessment Team based in Wiltshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum assistant team manager job is £42.01 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
    - 2+ years' experience in a similar role
    - Car driver

    Duties of the Assistant Team Manager:
    - You will be supporting the manager to direct, co-ordinate and provide leadership to all staff within your team, and in the team managers absence you will deputise by providing management cover and support for operational arrangements.
    - Within this role, you will be expected to undertake supervision of team members, allocate work and make judgements on intervention, child protection and closure of cases.
