    Assistant Team Manager, Leaving Care / Children in Care

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated assistant team manager to work full time within a leaving care team based in Wokingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum assistant team manager job is £38.01 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilties of the assistant team manager:
    - Undertaking a holistic assessment of children, families and carers using the looked after assessment framework and the Leaving Care assessment framework, involving other professionals/agencies as necessary.
    - Ensuring that service users' views are fully recorded during the assessment process and wherever possible are reflected in the subsequent case planning.
    - Preparing and present reports in a clear and logical way, and contribute to multi-agency conferences and meetings as appropriate.
    - Undertaking single or joint agency enquiries to assess likely and actual harm to children and take appropriate action to ensure their safety.
    - Developing and implement child protection plans.

    Requirements of the assistant team manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
