    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Team Manager to work within a Learning Disabilities Team based in Merton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Assistant Team Manager job is £33 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the Assistant Team Manager:
    - Act on behalf of the team manager in their absence and demonstrate good analytical skills, ability to work across organisational boundaries and contribute to service development
    - Supervise social workers, acting as duty senior, providing advice and guidance to staff and professionals internal and External to Merton
    - Responsible for the successful allocation of work and tasks to staff individually and collectively
    - Carry a small caseload of complex cases
    - Act as Safeguarding adult manager in cases of alleged abuse ensuring adherence with S42 care act

    Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within adults services
