Assistant Team Manager, Family Placements Team

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated assistant team manager to work full time within a family placements team based in Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum assistant team manager job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the assistant team manager:
- Ensure that the views of children, young people and carers are represented in the outputs of the team
- Ensure an adequate and through induction of new staff within the team
- Work with the team manager, that the team operates in compliance with relevant regulations and National Minimum Standards

Requirements of the assistant team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must be over 5 years post qualified with senior / assistant team manager experience and have experience within children in need.
