    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Team Manager to work within an Edge of Care Team based in Croydon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Assistant Team Manager job is £38 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - The role is required to have knowledge of (and provide expert advice on) edge of care principles, including supporting parents and understanding the vulnerabilities of children and young people. This includes children going missing, exploitation, gangs and offending.
    - Leadership, management and quality assurance experience

    - Children and young people who are at imminent risk of becoming looked after
    - Children and young people who have been made subject to police protection and where the care plan is for reunification
    - Children and young people who have unexpected come into care after a crisis/breakdown
    - Good quality interventions based on sound assessment and planning
