Assistant Team Manager, Children with Disabilities

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated assistant team manager to work full time within a children with disabilities team based in Croydon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum assistant team manager job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the assistant team manager:
- Undertaking the full range of social work tasks with children in need / young adults with disabilities
- Establishing and developing collaborative working with allied health and social care professionals from children's and adults' services
- Providing high quality supervision to a range of staff, particularly social work trainees and others on the social work career grade

Requirements of the assistant team manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
