    Assistant Team Manager, Child Protection

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated assistant team manager to work full time within a child protection team in Richmond. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of assistant team manager practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum assistant team manager job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Assistant team manager duties include:
    - To provide casework supervision to other social workers in the team to ensure the highest practice standards and working at all times in the best interests of children and young people
    - To act as a recognised expert within the specialist field: Contribute to the development of practice and policy in the specialist field: initiate and undertake research in own field
    - To ensure the team maintains a high standard of case recording of all interventions with service users in line with AfC policies and procedures, and data protection requirements

    Requirements of the assistant team manager:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
