    Description

    Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director for Quality Relationships to work full-time based in Surrey.

    The pay rate for this locum job is £650 - £750 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 -month contract.

    Duties:
    - Lead the policy, planning and partnerships and the customer engagement and communications services within the directorate, engaging with key partner agencies, to support the progression of the directorate's continuous improvement agenda.
    - Manage significant strategic programmes of work, providing professional expertise and helping to develop and embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
    - Contribute to collective leadership of the council, working collaboratively across the organisation and with partners and stakeholders to support the delivery of great services to residents.

    Key Functional/Service Accountabilities
    - Lead the development and implementation of effective strategic and operational planning within the directorate and broader children's services partnerships ensuring that capacity is made available to lead and support the development of key service strategies.
    - Lead on horizon scanning in respect of legislation and public policy developments affecting the directorate's operation, leading the briefing of elected members and senior management, and ensuring that strategic and operational planning takes account of these drivers.
    - Ensure the effective operation of partnership governance structures, promoting multi-agency ownership of improvement agendas and accountability for service improvement.
    - Lead for the directorate on providing public information about the directorate's services; on ensuring effective responses to complaints, MP and Elected Member enquiries and FOI requests and on developing and implementing a 'user voice' strategy, ensuring intelligence from these processes informs the understanding of service performance and quality and contributes to continuous improvement.
    - Operate within a complex environment in respect of the planning and delivery of all directorate services and engage effectively with all levels in the organisation and children's services partnerships.
    - Lead a professionalised workforce including service and team managers; policy and planning specialists, and staff expert in the field of customer relations and service user engagement.
    - Ensure that all directorate services comply with data protection and information governance requirements.
