Sanctuary Social Care is looking to recruit a compassionate and reliable approved mental health professional to work within an Forensic team in Croydon..

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

As an approved mental health professional, you responsibilities will be:
- Assess the needs of carers
- Participate in the team's arrangements for receiving referrals, to take urgent action to deal with any emergencies identified and provide short-term support for people as required
- Act as care co-ordinator under the care programme approach

The pay rate for this locum approved mental health job is £28 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the approved mental health professional:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
