    Description

    Sanctuary Executive currently has a vacancy based in London for an Anti-Social Behaviour Service Manager to work full-time. The pay rate for this role is £457.24 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the Service Manager:
    - To provide the corporate lead role on anti-social behaviour and provide assurance and guidance to all services and agencies in the borough who may provide a response to anti-social behaviour.
    - To lead, plan, develop and deliver an expert professional service within the Selective Licensing and Regulation service. To support the development, management and delivery of Council services. Manage staff responsible for service delivery / support within the service area. To ensure the Council maximises service outcomes in relation to cost.
    - To play a key role in delivery of the commercialisation of Regulatory Services and the generation of income, a major corporate priority. To take a lead role in the commercialisation and co-ordination of Council Services and those of partner agencies to identify and develop innovative commercial opportunities, partnership actions and interventions to deal with the many complex issues being faced by residents and businesses.

    Requirements of the Service Manager:
    - A comprehensive and operational understanding of anti-social behaviour and enforcement powers that can be used.
    - Knowledge of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014
    - Successful operational management experience of an enforcement team in the relevant regulatory field. Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary high profile and successful team
    - Experience of managing projects with internal and external stakeholders, working to time, budget and quality in a large organisation.
    - Significant enforcement experience in the relevant or comparable service area
    - Proven experience of working with a range of relevant strategic partners on the development and/or the delivery of joint action plans
    Experience of managing staff, including setting and monitoring performance targets
    - Experience of successfully working with management, other services and external organisations
    - Experience of producing and presenting clear and concise reports requiring a decision
    - In depth knowledge and understanding of the range of legislation relevant to the Section at a policy and practical level
    - To influence and effectively communicate to staff, senior management and other parts of the organisation
    - Ability to develop and implement work programmes and performance to achieve Service targets using management information systems
    - Ability to deliver an accessible service to the wider community through effective customer care and consultation leading to service improvement
