Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Social Work Practitioner to work within an Hospital Team based in Hillingdon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Advanced Practitioner job is £36 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the Advanced Practitioner:
- Undertake and work with highly complex situations including Safeguarding cases
- Perform the role of Safeguarding Manager on safeguarding cases
- Supervise and assess Approved Year in Supported Employment to develop their knowledge, skills, values and practice
- Supervise Community Care Support workers and Contribute to their development by ensuring positive outcomes for service users and joint working or undertaking joint visits to MCA or family meetings
- Perform role of duty manager ensuring to work effectively with the Hillingdon Hospital and other neighbouring hospitals in timely allocations and ensuring timely safe discharges into the community
- Contribute to Best Interest Decision making in complex situations/cases

Requirements of the Advanced Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- 2 years post qualifying Hospital experience
