Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Aylesbury for an advanced practitioner to work within a beyond auditing team. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive package of £41,586 - £46,159 per annum.

Responsibilities of the advanced practitioner:
- Undertake all necessary preparation, planning and consultation to set up, implement, close down and review all scheduled practice adults, thematic reviews and deep dives as part of the agreed quality assurance programme
- Scrutinise the quality of social work practice by evaluating evidence and make sound professional judgements about practice in accordance with best practice standards and Ofsted grade descriptors
- Prepare clear and comprehensive records, using agreed tools and templates, setting out the evidence, observations and rationale for all judgement and recommendations that are made
- Formulate evidence informed judgements about the safety and wellbeing of children and young people and take action to escalate any immediate concerns about the risk of harm
- Provide a coaching approach with social workers and manager to target social work skills and approaches

Requirements of the advanced practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Access to/use of a vehicle
- 3 years post qualification experience
- Ability to provide advice, consultation and mentoring to qualified social workers, social work trainees, students and other non-social work professionals
