2x Social Worker, Duty Intake and Assessment

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for two experienced and dedicated social workers to work full time in a duty intake and assessment team in Dundee. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the SSSC.

The pay rate for these locum social worker jobs is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and are initial 3 month contracts.

Responsibilities of the social workers:
- Providing an effective high quality social work service to children and families
- Assisting children and families to live safely in the community
- Working with children in care towards rehabilitation with their families of origin or towards permanent placement with substitute families

Requirements of the social workers:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current SSSC registration
- Experience of working with children and families and of collaborative work with other agencies
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of child care and protection practice and legislation
- Must be available to work beyond normal hours when needs of children and families require this
