Achieving Best Evidence

Crisis Communications
04-05 October, London

This course is aimed towards Directors of Service and Chief Executives and will teach the necessary skills to effectively handle media enquiries during times of crisis. You will be taught interview techniques and understand how you can be open and honest, whilst still adhering to client confidentiality.

Evidence Based Practice

This course will allow you to analyse the way you use evidence in your own practice and explore how you can avoid unconscious bias, understanding how it can impact on your daily work.

Radicalisation and CSE training

This one-day training workshop will equip health and social work practitioners with the skills to detect if someone is being groomed or at risk of radicalisation and/or religious extremism. As well as providing the tools to support a person who has been affected by extremism, delegates will learn how to implement workable prevention strategies. 

Section 47

This training workshop is available as a single training course, or in partnership with the Frontline Assessment Skills course. It will provide delegates with a detailed understanding of what a section 47 is as well as understanding the wider legal implications and how these could affect the assessment.

Whether you are involved in Child in Need, Early Help or Core Group meetings, this two-day workshop will give you the confidence to become an effective chair, and gain an understanding of how and when to intervene in difficult situations.
