Last night (9 December) saw Sanctuary Personnel pick up the award for Best Recruitment Campaign and Client Partnership at the national Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) Awards 2015 for our work with Hertfordshire County Council (Herts CC).

Sanctuary wins 'Best Recruitment Campaign & Client Partnership' at the IRP Awards 2015

After Hertfordshire County Council received a £4.9m grant from the Department for Education’s Children’s Social Care Innovation Programme to run its Family Safeguarding Project, the council needed a recruitment partner to resource entirely new multidisciplinary teams of health and social care professionals. This involved the creation of a new brand identity and a bespoke marketing campaign to attract and access relevant talent pools.

“Our in-house marketing team’s expert understanding of the sector meant the project went from brief to launch in just 3 weeks”

During the IRP’s annual award ceremony, the “excellent partnership” formed between Sanctuary and Herts CC was highlighted by the judges, commending “Sanctuary’s ability to rapidly mobilise and deliver a range of expert services that far exceeded industry expectations.”

The awards, which took place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, were hosted by BBC broadcaster, Steph McGovern.

Sanctuary’s Marketing Director, Andrew Pirie, who collected the award on the night, said: “I am very proud to have picked up this award. It not only highlights the effectiveness of our longstanding client partnerships, but it recognises the company’s ability to deliver a first class marketing and recruitment service. Our in-house marketing team’s expert understanding of the sector meant the project went from brief to launch in just 3 weeks allowing our client to quickly begin providing greater support to the families of Hertfordshire. I am delighted the team’s work has been recognised and would also like to congratulate Hertfordshire County Council for introducing such an innovative remodel of services.”

Sue Williams, Director of Family Safeguarding at Herts CC, said: “The work undertaken by the Sanctuary Marketing Team has been first class. From the design work for our logo, the choice of colours, pictures, wording and the graphics to the recommendations on advertising and assistance with negotiating discounts with media, we could not have had a higher quality service. We are delighted with the outcomes.”
