We are seeking opinions from probation staff about the changes to the sector following the closure of the 35 probation trusts in England and Wales.

The closures, which have been the latest stage in the Government’s Transforming Rehabilitation initiative, have seen the introduction of a new National Probation Service (for high risk offenders) whilst 21 Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs) have taken responsibility for medium-low risk offenders.

This is the biggest change to the probation service in its 106 year history and we want to find out what you think. We know that many probation staff will have the same worries and concerns, so we have set up a short survey for you to share your views.

The results of the survey will be revealed exclusively during our online discussion which will take place on Tuesday 1st July from 7pm – 8pm. This will be our second interactive session, and is an opportunity for professionals to ask questions to a panel of experts about TR and what this means for the future of probation.

To keep updated with the latest information relating to our next online discussion, or to pre-submit a question for our panel of experts, simply register your details
