Following the implementation of Ofsted's single inspection framework, social work departments have to work harder than ever before to ensure that they are meeting the required standards. The new framework sees inspectors judging child protection and looked-after-children services in the same report, as well as introducing tougher ratings which are now based on a four point scale: 'outstanding', 'good', 'requires improvement' and 'inadequate'.

A year on from these changes, we are looking to find out your experiences for a new publication, which will explore the full impact of Ofsted inspections on children’s services departments across the country.

This is your chance to let us know what you think about the Ofsted inspection processes. Do you know what the inspectors will be looking for? Are details of the inspections clearly communicated throughout your team? What is the impact of Ofsted inspections on staff morale? Are you given the necessary resources needed to implement any key recommendations?

We want to know the opinions of all frontline social work staff, regardless of whether you are permanently employed or a locum social worker, an NQSW or a skilled practitioner with more than 20 years experience. Let us know your experiences via our exclusive online questionnaire.

Those who submit their details before Friday 12th December 2014 will be entered into a random prize draw to win a £50 Amazon gift voucher!
