This lunchtime (12.30pm), we will be hosting a live discussion with NHS agency staff to speak about the latest stage of the cap on spending, which will take effect as of Friday 1 April.

This will be your chance to ask your questions about the pay caps and learn more about what this means for you.

Leading the discussion will be Lee Emmett (Health Contracts Manager) and Mark Tuvey (Operations Director), so regardless of whether you are a locum health worker directly affected by the changes, or a team manager looking to support your staff, this is a unique opportunity to have your questions answered.

To take part in our discussion, simply join in the conversation at any time between 12.30-1.30pm.

We look forward to answering your questions!

My key questions are. Are these caps reversible and is there any prospect of them ever being reversed.

Secondly. I am an MRI radiographer which as you know is a specialist skill in the field of radiography. However, under these new Caps, there is no distinction being made in the rates of a general radiographer and a Specialist radiographer.

Is this something agencies are lobbying against and if so is there any prospect of level of specialisation being factored back into the rates of a Contractor?
