Do you have a passion for social work and a flair for words? If so, we want to hear from you!

Social Work News magazine is seeking new contributors to support our editorial team, allowing us to truly represent the voice of the profession.

Perhaps you would like to write a guest column for the next issue or maybe you work in a niche role and would like to share your advice/recommendations with your peers. Whatever it is, if you’ve got an idea that you would like to see featured in an upcoming issue, we want to know about it!

In our first contribution towards the Social Work Circle feature, a social worker asks if it is important for social workers to care.

All contributions towards the magazine would be classed as a CPD activity and we will provide you with a signed certificate which you can use in your portfolio regardless of whether you choose to write under your own name, or anonymously as part of our brand new ‘social work circle’.   Whether you’re working in a social work job, AMHP job or even a Senior Practitioner job, you could have a platform to share your experiences and expertise!

You can read more about the Social Work Circle in the new issue of Social Work News which is out now.

All you have to do to get involved is let us know the following details no later than 31 January 2018

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Contact information
  • Suggested headline
  • Short 150-word synopsis
