Due to popular demand, our upcoming online discussion focusing on continuing professional development (CPD) activities will now take place at the earlier time of 6.30pm

Social workers have been signing up in their droves to register their attendance for the discussion, and the earlier start will allow us to have more time to answer your questions. The interactive session will now last for approx. 90 minutes (6.30pm – 8pm) and pre-registration is still available for those who still wish to sign up.

This exclusive chat will help social workers understand what they need to do to meet the current CPD requirements set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). It will also explain to social workers how they can choose the right CPD activities for their role, how they can put their learning into practice and what evidence they need to provide to meet the HCPC’s standards. It can also count as a CPD activity!

We want to know what you think about the new approach – is it helping to improve social work practice? Let us know your thoughts or submit your questions in advance through our short survey. We will reveal the results exclusively during the discussion.

For more information about what the HCPC are looking for, read our exclusive interview with Robert Templeton, council member, HCPC in the latest issue of Sanctuary Social Work News
