A new vacancy has opened up for a qualified Social Worker to join this new Family Placement Team.

This is a permanent position and will have a salary set around £30,000.

You will be required to recruit, assess, train and support carers who are providing a range of services to children in the community. The successful applicant will be a member of the Family Placement Service.

You should have a good knowledge of childcare legislation and relevant social work experience in childcare.

You will need to have an understanding of the need and concerns of carers and young people and have the ability to express professional assessments verbally and in writing.
