Are you looking for a career which improves the lives of the elderly?

Working as part of an experienced locally based team, you will provide a responsive social work service to a culturally diverse population aged 65 and over, with knowledge of assessment, care plan and intervention, you will undertake multi disciplinary work, contribute to the delivering and developing person-centred care to Older People and their carers.

Working for your client you will ensure that older people continue to live as independently as possible within their preferred lifestyle. You will achieve this by

• Assessing clients’ needs.
• Agreeing care plans.
• Monitoring care.
• Liaising closely with care users and their families.

Being a part of our client’s friendly and flexible team you will be keen to help shape the future care for older people and be committed to the empowerment and involvement of service users and their carers.

You will be a fully qualified social worker who holds GSCC registration.

This is a 4 month contract position with a pay rate of £22.00 per hour not including the various expenses.
