It was a night of celebration for Sanctuary at the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2014 after we were named Recruitment Agency of the Year!

The awards ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, 7 May at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, is the UK’s largest event for the recruitment industry, recognising best practice and celebrating the success of in-house and agency recruitment teams.

“The excitement jumped off the page. Employee engagement was industry leading, as was the overall entry”

The judges felt that our commitment to responsible business practice set us apart from the other agencies and described Sanctuary as “an extremely well-run business across all disciplines”, commenting on how they “felt the excitement jumping off the page” and that “employee engagement was industry leading, as was the overall entry”.

We were also commended for our understanding of the sensitive nature of the work delivered by candidates and clients, the long-term relationships made possible through high staff retention and impressive compliance and safeguarding audit scores.

James Rook, managing director, said: “We are honoured as a company to win such a prestigious award. I am delighted that everyone in the company is getting some of the recognition that they so thoroughly deserve. We definitely have a unique environment with people who genuinely care about each other and what we can achieve by going that extra mile in supporting our colleagues, our clients and candidates. I feel utterly humbled and extremely fortunate to work with such amazing people!”

We couldn’t have achieved this without you - it’s great to hear such positive feedback about your experiences of working with Sanctuary and it went a long way in supporting our entry for this award, so we would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everybody who has made this accolade possible.
